Malaysia Records 388 Sexual Harassment Cases in First Five Months of 2024
Malaysia recorded 388 sexual harassment cases in the first five months of 2024, continuing an upward trend from 477 cases in 2022 to 1,038 in 2023. Deputy Minister Lim Hui Ying attributes the increase to greater public awareness and victim courage.
