Diesel Trains to Serve Southern Shuttle Until New EMU Fleet Arrives, Says Loke
Malaysia's Transport Ministry is deploying diesel trains on the Southern Shuttle service as a temporary solution while awaiting new Electric Multiple Unit trains, with an annual subsidy of RM11–15 million allocated to boost rail ridership.
