Thailand Imposes Alcohol Ban During Bangkok and Pattaya Local Elections
Thailand has implemented a strict alcohol ban in Bangkok and Pattaya during local elections on June 27–28. The restriction prohibits sale, distribution and service of all alcoholic beverages, with violators facing up to six months imprisonment or fines.
