Online Fraud Losses Nearly Double in Malaysia as Investment Scams Lead the Charge
Malaysia's online fraud losses have surged to RM2.97 billion in 2025 from RM1.57 billion in 2024, with non-existent investment schemes accounting for nearly half. The National Scam Response Centre has recovered RM10.9 million since 2022.
