Registered Societies Cannot Sue for Defamation, Court Rules
Malaysia's Court of Appeal has ruled that registered societies, including Pertubuhan Ikram Malaysia, cannot pursue defamation claims because they lack legal personality and have no reputation capable of legal protection.
