Animal Rights Campaigner Pushes Through Injury to Complete First Leg of 290km Run for Elephants
An animal welfare campaigner has completed the opening stage of a 290-kilometre solo run from Taiping to Parliament in Kuala Lumpur, pressing forward despite sustaining a knee injury. The effort aims to draw attention to three elephants housed at Tennoji Zoo in Japan.
