Following these traditional steps, Tuanku Muhriz formally conferred upon Muhammad Faris the title Datuk Klana Petra, a designation integral to the Undang's role within the state's hierarchical system of customary leadership.
In his address during the installation, Tuanku Muhriz underscored the significance of upholding the commitments made during the ceremony with unwavering sincerity and integrity. Born on 30 October 1997, the 28-year-old Muhammad Faris obtained a bachelor's degree in accountancy from Universiti Teknologi MARA and completed professional certification through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants programme in 2022. His educational background in accounting represents a contemporary addition to the customary leadership apparatus, potentially facilitating improved financial and administrative practices within his jurisdiction. He is married to Sharifah Amirah Syed Ismail Ash-Shahab.
